Krazy Races a Community Success in Wolverhampton

31 August 2023 by Edward Martin

Thousands flocked to the streets of Wolverhampton on the overcast Bank Holiday Monday this August to watch one of the fastest growing events in the country, the Krazy Races soapbox series. Founded in 2018 by event director Sarah Belcher, Krazy Races has gone on to become one of the countries largest 'free to attend' soapbox derby festivals and is the winner of the UK's best new event.

Having already brought smiles to faces in Lancashire, Shrewsbury, Northwich, Swansea and over 15,000 in Stockport, their visit to Wolverhampton this week and JJX Logistics were more than happy to help with transporting karts and setup equipment to and from the site.

It was also a great opportunity for organisations across the area to showcase their finest engineering ingenuity including the Wolves Foundation, Jaguar Land Rover, Wolverhampton City College, the University of Wolverhampton racing team and Collins Aerospace, a close partner of JJX's for over two decades and the headline sponsor for the fantastic event.
