Today (14th July) we took our Life or Knife trailer to West Cross Shopping Centre to help out Smethwick Police with Operation Cesium.
What is Operation Cesium?
Operation Cesium is an initiative to make a difference, prevent crime in Smethwick and to bring the community together.
The police have been in and around the area talking to many different people, listening to their concerns and taking action.
The Litter watch team, Sandwell Partnerships, Sandwell Young Peoples Services and others were all in attendance.
Our trailer was on site to help emphasise the message. The #LifeorKnife campaign, set up by the West Midlands police, displays images of a few people that have been affected by knife crime.
