We are incredibly proud to share that our founder and owner, John Joseph Donovan, has been awarded the prestigious title of Chartered Fellow by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). This is the highest level of membership within the Institute, recognising his outstanding leadership, commitment and contribution to the logistics and transport industry.
With nearly three decades dedicated to the sector, John has been a driving force in promoting excellence, professionalism and quality service since day one, fully embodying the Institute's mission to 'Professionalise the Profession'. His leadership at JJX has not only shaped the company into what it is today but has also set a benchmark for industry standards. Throughout his career, John has always been a passionate advocate for continuous improvement in the industry.
Beyond his business success, John is deeply committed to mentoring and guiding the next generation of logistics professionals. He believes in sharing knowledge, fostering talent, and ensuring that the future of the industry remains in capable hands. His dedication to training and supporting young professionals has left a lasting impact on both JJX Logistics and the wider sector.
I left school without the kind of education most people would expect for a ‘business leader,’ and if you’d told me back then that one day I’d be a Chartered Fellow of CILT, I wouldn’t have believed you. But this industry has taught me that what truly matters is showing up, working hard, and doing things the right way.
Being named a Chartered Fellow is an incredible honour but the truth is, this recognition isn’t just about me. It’s about the incredible people I’ve had the privilege of working with over the years. Seeing how JJX has grown and the impact we’ve had makes me prouder than any personal achievement. This Fellowship may have my name on it but it belongs to everyone who’s been part of this journey.
