About us...

Corporate Social Responsibility

We pride ourselves on being more than just a logistics company.

Ever since our humble beginnings as just one man and his van, we've always had consideration for our community. This ethos has been with us from the start and continues to play an important part in what we do today.

Our presence in the community is one of the things that we pride ourselves upon. From planning and taking part in events to supporting charities not only regionally, but nationally, we try our best.

Some of the charities we support include Black country mental health, the Alheimers society, the Black Country food bank and Breast cancer now – legacy4lucy. This list doesn’t stop there as we are constantly reaching out and growing our presence within the community and wherever we can help.

Not only do we donate to the fore mentioned charities, but we also hold and take part in events to help raise money and awareness for the relevant cause. The events include the Birmingham and Wolverhampton pride parade, where we hosted a float that cruised along the parade, we had a team of our own run the London landmarks half marathon in hopes to raise money for Black Country mental health, a team of our own are also playing against the wolves all stars at the Molineux stadium in aid of Black Country mental health once again, as well as  Breast Cancer Now – Legacy4Lucy, and we frequently host food donation points to donate the collected food to the Black Country food bank. Not only do we take part in events to raise money, but we also aid in events free of charge in order to support the community. Some of these events include the transportation of karts for the students of the University of Wolverhampton taking part in the Wolverhampton soap box krazy races, and the transport of students of Summerhill school playing in the steel pan band during the Kingswinford and Wall Heath parade in honour of King Charles’ coronation.

Charities we support

Black Country Mental Health

Black Country Mental Health

An amazing local charity that help to support over 5000 people a year with their mental health. We take part in, and host, a lot of events and fundraisers in aid of this charity as it is something we hold close to our hearts. Having the opportunity to ensure everyone has a fair chance to seek the help they need, mentally and physically, is vital to us.

Alzheimer's Society

Alzheimer’s society is another charity we hold close to our hearts here at JJX. So many people including our loved ones have, or are on track to suffer from Alzheimer’s, and its other forms. We take part in event and fundraisers, as well as donating money as frequently as we can.

Breast Cancer Now - Legacy4Lucy

Legacy4Lucy is a fundraising channel that has been set up through Breast Cancer Now, by Jason Guy, the husband of Lucy who unfortunately passed away in 2015 due to breast cancer. We hold events every year, and donate money in attempts to raise funds and awareness for this cause.

Black Country Food Bank

We hold collection points and fundraising events to raise money and awareness, as well as collecting an array of food items to donate, so that they can distribute it to those locally who need it most. It breaks our hearts that some people don’t have access to food and have to live in unstable conditions, so our aim is to help make a difference.

Teams we support

You thought it stopped there? Our community presence isn’t limited to charity work, we also support grassroots football teams including P.S Olympic and Wrens Nest FC, as well as the University of Wolverhampton racing team, which consists of and benefits the students of Wolverhampton university undertaking an engineering course. Its not only teams that we sponsor either, this year we are sponsoring the Black Country Heroes award in the well being and mental health champions category in honour of Black Country mental health.

Mental Health Support for Staff

Our connections with Black Country Mental Health allows us to be knowledgable on the necessary processes that ensure our staff are cared for. This is vital to us as ensuring our workplace is as welcoming and as friendly as possible is one of our top priorities. Our family-like environment is something that we pride ourselves upon, and something that we never wish to change. Having the knowledge to keep our staff as fit and fighting as possible, mentally and physically, is something of extreme importance to us.
