JJX Logistics vs the Wolves Allstars
Here at JJX, we pride ourselves on being more than just a Logistics company. Not only providing many different types of transport but storage and fulfilment solutions too. On top of this, we like to give back to our community, helping in every way possible whether it’s a simple dress-down day or organising big charity events.
Charity Football Match
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month (October) we organised a charity football match at Wednesfield FC in aid of Breast Cancer Now – Legacy4Lucy.
This wasn’t just any football match.
The JJX Logistics Team took on the Wolves Allstars, a team of Wolverhampton Wanderers football legends. To say the match was tough would be an understatement with the final score being 7 – 2 to the Wolves Allstars, however, the real winner here is Breast Cancer Now. Over £2750 was raised through sponsors, entry fees, a raffle, an auction and extra donations.
We would like to thank Staff Today who sponsors the Wolves Allstars for making this happen. Also, thank you to Direct Letterbox Marketing for helping us to produce the match programme, allowing us to raise even more for charity. The Kingswinford Sports Shop also deserve recognition for the awesome JJX kit they produced.
Despite the weather, everyone had an amazing day. Thank you to all who came to support the day and supported the charity by donating!
